Cutting-Edge Plastic Injection Moulding Services

Cutting-edge injection moulding services

At McLar, we take pride in our cutting-edge suite of injection moulding machines, ranging from 80t to 200t in capacity, all aged less than 4 years. These machines embody the pinnacle of precision and efficiency, as they are super accurate Borche machines.

The accuracy of our Borche injection moulding machines guarantees that each product we manufacture meets the most stringent quality standards, ensuring consistency and reliability. Moreover, as part of our commitment to sustainability, these machines are engineered to be exceptionally energy efficient, aligning with our environmental goals and minimising our carbon footprint. Our machines are able to mould a comprehensive choice of plastics. These include Nylon, Polycarbonate, ABS and Polypropylene. These can be produced economically in large volumes and at high speed.

State-of-the-art injection moulding for manufacturing

By harnessing the capabilities of these state-of-the-art injection moulding machines, we continue to offer our clients unmatched precision, reliability, and sustainability, cementing our position as an industry leader in injection moulding services. With over 30 years experience in Injection moulding and tool making your tools are safe with us.

We boast an internal tool room for new tool creation, design and the repair of any tools needing it. Our toolroom is equipped with CNC Millers, lathes, EDM and grinding facilities. 80%+ of our plastic material is reprocessed and recycled again further increasing our sustainability goals.

We have experience in the injection moulding of many materials but our daily use materials are:

  • Polypropylene
  • Nylon 6 30% GF
  • HIPS
  • ABS
  • PVC

FAQ: Injection Moulding & Toolmaking

What is your tooling capacity and lead time?

Our in-house toolroom is equipped with CNC milling, lathe, EDM and grinding machines. For many standard tools, we can deliver rapid lead times and because the tooling is built and controlled in-house, we maintain excellent cost efficiency, precision and iteration flexibility.

What machine sizes do you operate?

We utilise modern Borche injection-moulding machines with clamping forces ranging from 80 tonnes to 200 tonnes (all under 4 years old). This range enables us to handle small, complex components to larger, higher-volume parts while maintaining precision and repeatability.

How do you ensure quality and consistency?

We apply full process control across tooling, moulding, finishing and inspection. This includes dimensional verification, functional testing, surface finish control and packaging integrity checks. Our aim is zero surprises at the assembly line.

What materials can you mould?

We mould a broad range of technical and commodity plastics including nylon (PA), polycarbonate (PC), ABS, polypropylene (PP), HIPS and PVC. Each material is selected and processed to best suit your application’s mechanical, aesthetic and regulatory requirements.

What are your sustainability commitments?

Sustainability is embedded in our operations: over 80 % of production material is recycled, we run energy-efficient moulding machines and continuously monitor and reduce our environmental footprint. We believe responsible manufacturing is part of precision craftsmanship.

Can you support volume scaling and revisions?

Yes. Having both tooling and production in-house means we’re agile when volumes grow or modifications are required. We work closely with you to adapt tooling changes, adjust process parameters and manage logistics as your project evolves.
